We recently filmed with a Cornish fisherman as part of TikTok’s Gifting Awareness Campaign.He’s been fishing these waters his whole life — and is now using TikTok LIVE as a way to keep going. Sharing the reality of life at sea, he’s built a dedicated community that supports what he does.

Although it hurt when the alarm went off at 3am, it was worth it to see the sun rising over the Cornish coastline — a memorable start to a long but rewarding shoot.

It’s a strong example of how platforms like TikTok LIVE are breathing new life into traditional skills, giving creators the means to share their craft — and sustain it — in the modern world.
